Get a DemoYes. Tablet Command is designed to be CAD-agnostic and has successfully connected with every system encountered.
The integration approach depends on the CAD vendor’s architecture and available interfaces. Depending on the system, we integrate via file exports, database queries, or APIs. Tablet Command collaborates with your IT specialists or CAD vendor to establish the connection.
Tablet Command integrates with CrewSense, TeleStaff, netDuty, Firehouse, Aladtec, and Google Sheets to pull staffing and scheduling data. View who’s on duty, assigned roles, riding positions, and unit availability from live rosters.
See unit rosters or search by first or last name to quickly locate personnel. Multi Agency Staffing integrations refresh every five minutes across all devices.
Yes, departments or agencies can view any custom Esri GIS layer inside the app, including hydrants, hazards, wildland boundaries, pre-plans, etc. These layers appear on the incident map. Unlike most Mobile Data Terminals, as soon as a map is updated in Esri, it is available to all Tablet Command users.
Tablet Command also supports integrations with live camera and drone feeds and other aerial imagery platforms, enabling real-time visuals directly inside the app. Any publicly accessible camera feed can be added using a direct URL.
Tablet Command supports mutual aid by linking agencies or departments through shared incidents and integrated AVL data. When a mutual aid unit from another agency using Tablet Command is attached to an incident, core incident details from CAD are automatically shared, such as incident type, location, unit assignments, unit status, and live AVL.
Agencies can also share selected GIS layers and pre-plans to support a common operating picture while maintaining control of data.
