On Wednesday, June 10th 2026 Tablet Command will release Tablet Command and TC Mobile 4.3 to the App Store. This release includes new features like support for sharing to Watch Duty, improved personnel location, and connectivity indicators for radio streams. It also contains feature and performance improvements and bug fixes.
Tablet Command now supports sharing custom incident notes from the application to Watch Duty. The account needs to be configured to allow sharing to Watch Duty after the appropriate data sharing agreements have been signed. Next the appropriate user/users need to be allowed to share to Watch Duty.
Tablet Command and TC Mobile now check to see if a radio stream is up. It does not tell if there is active audio on the channel but it can tell if the stream itself is up. The green dot indicates the stream it up and the red indicates that it is not.
In the 4.2 release last month Tablet Command introduced the ability to show personnel locations differently on the map and to separately manage personnel locations as a layer. 4.3 introduces the ability to associate a location from TC Mobile to a known personnel record. This will facilitate future functionality around personnel locations coming from a variety of integrations and will support data beyond just the location of the person. Tracking of TC Mobile needs to be turned on for the account by Tablet Command and then can be activated by an account admin on a user by user basis.
