On Tuesday, May 5th 2026 Tablet Command will release Tablet Command and TC Mobile 4.2 to the App Store. These releases included new features like support for personnel location, secure radio streams, and improved notes functionality. It also contains feature and performance improvements and bug fixes
Tablet Command now supports showing Personnel locations as a separate layer with dedicated symbology that can be turned on and off. The name tags can also be turned on and off.
Tablet Command now supports three different note types, local/personal notes, incident notes and notes back to CAD. The local/personal notes can be edited and then when ready sent to the incident or sent to CAD. Incident notes are available to all Tablet Command users on the incident and notes back to CAD go back to the CAD record and are visible to all users and to the dispatchers and become part of the CAD record.
In order to support situations where a user has not removed the vehicle from their login or where a tablet needs to be switched in the middle of the night without an admin available, users can now "take" a vehicle from another user. The process requires a secondary confirmation that you are taking the vehicle from another user.
